About Bishop W. F. Houston Jr., D.D.

Theologian · Digital Ministry Architect

Bishop W. F. Houston Jr., D.D. is the founder and lead voice of Christian House of Faith (C H O F) Ministry™ in Cleveland, Ohio, and the founder of Houston Multimedia Productions™. His ministry work began in 1997. Through preaching, teaching, writing, and visual communication, he invites people to examine Scripture carefully and carry its truth into everyday life.

His ministry stands on one conviction: the Word of God does not need softening to be received. It needs to be opened, explained, and obeyed. That conviction shapes the Sugar-Free Gospel™ — Pure Truth. No Filler. Its mission is Igniting Faith, Elevating Wisdom, Transforming Lives.

The Ministry and Its Beginning

Bishop Houston founded Christian House of Faith on February 3, 2008. The ministry was formally chartered in Ohio on May 29, 2009. Today, its Digital Campus makes its teaching available to readers, listeners, and viewers wherever they can connect online.

The ministry’s standard calls for responsible interpretation, accurate context, and a clear distinction between what Scripture declares, what an interpreter infers, and how a teaching applies to present circumstances. Biblical-language studies must illuminate the passage rather than supply impressive words detached from their meaning.

The aim of correction is repentance, wisdom, freedom, and faithful obedience. Conviction carries a responsibility to speak with the character of Christ. The teacher remains accountable to the same truth he asks others to receive.

There is room here for the experienced teacher, the everyday believer, the person wrestling with doubt, and the seeker opening a Bible for the first time. Each deserves careful explanation and a meaningful next step. Serious study should equip people to understand and practice the Word.

Formation and Service

Bishop Houston’s preparation includes a B.A. in Christian Ministries, a Master of Divinity, an honorary Doctor of Divinity, and certification in Homiletics and Pastoral Counseling. He is an ordained Christian minister, an Ohio marriage officiant, and a United States Air Force veteran.

His approach brings Scripture into conversation with theology, philosophy, literature, and visual communication. He asks readers to examine the assumptions beneath their conclusions and the relationship between their confession and their conduct.

Houston Multimedia Productions™ and the Digital Campus

Houston Multimedia Productions™, Where Vision Becomes Visual, is the creative production arm supporting the ministry’s broadcasts, audio, visual work, and digital presentation. Its purpose is to give the message a clear, thoughtful, and professionally crafted form.

The Digital Campus of C H O F Ministry™ is the ministry’s permanent online home. Its eighteen buildings organize teaching, prayer, study, production, and preservation into connected destinations. Visitors can begin with a devotion, follow a question into deeper study, or return to a teaching that deserves another hearing.

The ministry’s publishing practice places new teaching on the Campus before its social-media release. Social posts invite people into the work; the Campus provides the enduring place to read, listen, study, and return.

How the Work Is Made

C H O F Ministry™ is pastor-led and AI-driven: artificial intelligence powers much of its research, production, and digital operations, while Bishop Houston retains theological judgment and final approval.

Scripture governs the teaching. Sources, interpretations, and factual claims require examination regardless of which tool helped prepare them. AI assistance does not confer spiritual authority or make a statement true.

The ministry uses technology openly and purposefully to support communication and learning. Its standard remains faithful interpretation, accountable authorship, and responsible stewardship of the people who receive the work.
